Once an Attendance record has been entered for a particular Student, that Attendance record can be modified or even deleted, at any time as long as the Student's Class Enrolment status is "Active" in the Class for which the Attendance record was created. Modifying an Attendance record can mean anything from changing the Type of Attendance occurrence to adjusting the "times" or hours of the occurrence.
To modify a Student's Attendance record(s), the User may navigate directly to the Student's Attendance records by:
1. Select the Attendance Activity under the Student heading on the Pencil Tray.
2. As with all Services, in this case the Student, a Locate Student dialog ill appear asking you to locate a Student record that was previously entered using fields that are specific to Student records. Fill in the appropriate information and choose "OK".
3. If more than one record matches your inquiry, a Select list will appear for selecting the desired record.
4. The Student Attendance form for the desired Student will appear with a list of all Class Enrollments that the Student has acquired.
5. Locate the Class Enrollment needing the modification and double click on it to display the Student Attendance Detail form.
6. When the Student Attendance Detail form appears, all Attendance records recorded for this Student's Class Enrollment will be listed in Date order with the most recent at the top.

7. Locate the correct Attendance record and make either a change to the Attendance "Type" or "Start" and "End Times".

8. If any change is to be made to the Reason or Note fields, simply click once on the Attendance record and choose the Detail page of the form.

9. Make the necessary changes.
10. Choose "Save" once complete.
